Swift wrote original songs which was influenced by country musicians such as Shania Twain (now known as the Chicks) as well as Dixie Chicks. Her material expressed Swift's feelings about tweens and the feeling of alienation. Swift moved from Pennsylvania along with her parents to Hendersonville, Tennessee when she was 13 years old to dedicate more time to contacting the country music labels.
